Our thirteenth Issue is a special on the Apocalypse. It commences with two articles on the Psalter and apocalyptic testimony –the first on Psalm 2 and the second is on Psalm 79; both articles examine the relationship between these Psalms and the eschatology of Revelation 11. Our third article Feast Days and the Structure of Revelation , examines how the festal calendar of Israel shaped not only the liturgy of the Old Testament, but also the structure of Revelation. The article that follows, The Mission of the Seventy notes the similarities between first century witnessing and last days witnessing in Revelation 11. The fifth article on The First Four Sealsis an exegesis on the opening of the scroll and the ‘Four horsemen of the Apocalypse’ –contextualizing Revelation in its first century setting. The book we review Redating the New Testament by J.A.T. Robinson has almost become a Christian classic and firmly dates the New Testament before 70 – this is of particular interest to students of the Apocalypse.
