The first article examines the dating,destination and authorship of the epistle to the Hebrews
and puts forward evidence that it was written by Barnabas to the church at Ephesus before the fall of the Temple.
The next article looks at Abraham's sacrifice in order to resolve the question whether it was Ishmael or Isaac - an area of contention
between Christians, Jews and Muslims.The third article examines the "Law of Kindness"; the concept of the kinsman redeemer
as typified by Boaz and the role of Ruth in the transaction, who acts as a model for the Gentiles. Our fourth
article is a two part examination of the Day of Atonement -Yom Kippur, in O.T. and N.T. theology including an analysis of modern day relevancy.
The fifth article is the first of a series of articles that present a Biblical understanding of the “Spirit” in the Old and New Testaments –
debunking the dogma of the “personhood”of the Spirit and defining the role of the Spirit during the last days witnessing”
The sixth article is a critical book review of “Heaven on Earth”: The Temple in Biblical Theology; editors T. Desmond Alexander and Simon Gathercole.
We review essays by Carl E. Armerding,Crispin H.T. Fletcher-Louis and Stephen Sizer. The book covers Old Testament, inter-testament and New Testament material;
contemporary theological issues such as the temple in Christian Zionism are also addressed. The last article is a guest contribution on Missiology: "To the Jew first"
