Welcome

Any undertaking of this type must of necessity have a conception of the goals that it wishes to achieve and the audience that it targets. However, it must also have the fluidity to allow the operation of grace, for, Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it.” (Ps.127: 1)

This magazine is oriented towards adherents of the monotheistic faiths (although others are welcome), but it is particularly directed at religious and secular Jews.  Israel has only recently returned to the land, but where are the prophets?

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.”

(Amos 8: 12-13)

Has the Lord God deserted his people?  Has he nothing more to say to them?

“Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever? But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers?”

(Zech.1: 5)

The goal of the magazine is to introduce the Elijah witnessing mission that will soon commence: “to turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers” (Mal.4: 6) – to turn the hearts of the Jews back to the covenants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

“Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand the message? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts? For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Nay, but by men of strange lips and with another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, ‘This is the rest, wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.’”

(Isa.28:9-12)

It is time that the Jews reclaimed their rest –Jesus Christ –the Messiah, the ‘hope of Israel , and not the pre-existent Trinitarian God of Christianity. It is time that Christians examined themselves; for Judgment begins at the household of God. It is time that Muslims forsook the perpetual hatred of their Jewish brethren and acknowledged that their share of Abraham’s blessings can only be realized through God’s full and final revelation –Jesus Christ. It is time that scholars understood that handling God’s living word is a privilege and should be done responsibly.

In short, it is time to repent; “lest I come and smite the earth with a curse” (Mal.4: 6).
